  • "After holidaying in California for many years as youngsters my sister and myself decided to take our elderly parents and their 3 legged dog on a surprise holiday to revisit our old haunts some 18 years after their last visit. We had such a wonderful 2 weeks at California Cliffs that we ended up buying a caravan so we can come as often as we choose !"

  • "This is one on behalf of my mother who came down  from Scotland for a week in June. She has always been scared of water and while in the pool with my niece she got talking to the life guard who spoke to her and gave her tips on how to overcome her fears. After a few practices (well almost the full week) she took to the beach where whilst in the water a seal came up and swam about 2 meters from her for several minutes. This really made her holiday special, so much so she gave us the money to upgrade our caravan :)"

  • "We bought our static in june, we have had a brilliant summer. The best thing we have bought, always got something to look forward to as we can go when ever we like, lots of barbecues, beach walks and visitors, we love it!"

  • "We moved to this site at the begining of the 2009 season from another site close by, when we first came onto the site the staff and sales team were very helpful and welcoming - the ducks on site were getting ready to nest and each week we would see them sitting on the nest, then along came a mother duck and her 19 newly hatched ducklings! Each day they would come and get breakfast, dinner and tea outside the caravan and all the children loved to watch them grow. The little duckling became very cheeky and would hop onto the steps to ask for food, the Mother duck would see off the other birds and she managed to keep 18 alive. They still came to visit at the end of the season. Just  to say even the ducks enjoy Park Resorts!"

  • "We love our caravan! It gives the whole family a chance to escape from our busy home lives when ever we want, even the dogs love it too! For me being by the sea is so calming and refreshing and I always have the best nights sleep. For our daughter the entertainment is so fantastic she never wants to go home!"

  • "The first time we came across Lower Hyde Park Resorts must have been the summer of 2001.  We were looking for a different English resort and after going to the same resort for years we thought we would try some where on the Isle of Wight. We consisted of 3 families, mums, dads and on average 4 children for each family.
We arrived and had a great time, the Ents staff were fantastic and we never saw any of the children other than to be watered, fed and changed to go to the club house.  The kids loved the party dances and so did the adults.  We always felt that we had taken part in an aerobics workout each night.
Times have changed and the children are all grown up, we saved some money and were going to buy a home on the Isle of Wight but decided to buy a caravan instead.
Now we not only have the kids coming over but the grandchildren.  It is the best thing we ever did.  We get to spend all our breaks there and since I work in a school so there are plenty. "
