Booking your holiday

Below is a list of the most frequently asked questions to help you booking your holiday. If you cannot find your query within the list below please contact us at Park Resorts and we will be more than happy to help or guide you through any problems you may have.
  • What is the maximum number of people that can stay in 1 unit of accommodation?

    Our accommodation types vary from Park to Park, we have a range of Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze accommodation sleeping 4-8 people. We also have a range of chalets and lodges at select Parks. If you are booking on the website, you are asked to input the number of people in your party, so the accommodation suggested will only display accommodation that can accept the number of people in your party. If you are booking by phone, again you will only be offered accommodation that meets your requirements.

  • What are the check-in and departure times?

    Your accommodation will be available from:
    1.30pm if you have booked into Gold, Platinum, or Signature Lodge Accommodation,
    2.30pm if you have booked into Silver accommodation
    4pm if you have booked into Bronze accommodation,
    on the day of your arrival once it has been cleaned and prepared for you.

    In order for us to prepare for our next guests we do ask that you vacate your accommodation by 10am on the day of your departure.

  • Do you have any special requirements?

    If you have a special request regarding your holiday, please advise us when making your booking and confirm your request in writing either by post or email including your telephone number in case of any query. We will endeavour to meet your requests, however this cannot be guaranteed and is not a condition of booking.

  • How much do I have to pay today?

    Your deposit per Holiday Home is all that we require to secure your booking. The deposit is based on the total price of your holiday including any premiums, discounts or additional charges. Deposit payable:

    The final balance is not due until 8 weeks before your holiday start date.

    There is no charge for making a payments by debit card. Because we incur credit card charges when you book, we do charge just 1.5% for all credit card payments to help cover this cost.

    You can rest assured that your online payment details are safe and secure when you book your holiday online using our online payment system.

    We accept most debit and credit cards. However we are unfortunately unable to accept VISA Electron or American Express.

    Please note: All Terms & Conditions will apply once your payment has been processed and your booking is confirmed. Please call our friendly reservations team with any queries you may have.

  • What are the different ways that I can book my holiday?

    We try to make booking your holiday as simple as possible and offer a number of different ways to do so.

    Book online: You can book your holiday online using our secure, fast and efficient online booking system.

    Our friendly Reservations Team are always happy to take your call, whether you want to book a holiday, check availability or have a question that you need answering.

    Travel Agents: Your local Co-Op Travel store will be happy to make the booking on your behalf. They will collect all payments and issue you with the necessary paperwork.

  • Cots and highchairs hire?

    Travel Cots are available for hire at £10 per break. They must be collected from reception at the start of your stay. A £10 refundable deposit will be collected from you at this time. This deposit will be returned to you once the travel cot is returned to reception, at the end of your stay, in the condition in which it was hired.

    Please remember to bring your own cot linen.
    In most grades of accommodation the travel cot will only fit in the lounge area.

    A limited number of highchairs can also be hired at most Parks.
    These are also subject to a £10 charge and £10 refundable deposit.

    Travel cots and highchairs are subject to availability.
    Please confirm at the time of booking if you would like to hire one.

  • What are the holiday extra’s?

    You can select certain extras to add to your holiday booking. These carry additional charges that will be applied to your total holiday cost.

    These include but are not limited to:
    Cots
    Highchairs
    Dogs
    Breakfast

  • Paying with Tesco or Leisure vouchers?

    Paying with Tesco or Leisure Vouchers?

    Your Tesco Vouchers and Leisure Vouchers cannot be redeemed online as the offers shown are website only offers. If you would like to use your Tesco Clubcard vouchers to book a Park Resorts holiday, you will need to request the vouchers from Tesco and have them in front of you before giving us a call on 0843 309 2599.

    If you are a Tesco Clubcard member you can exchange your Clubcard Vouchers to pay for all or part of your Park Resorts self-catering holiday.

    Every £10 in Clubcard Vouchers gives you £30 towards your holiday. Rewards tokens may only be used by the Clubcard Holder (whose name is printed on the vouchers), however, there can be more than one named voucher per booking as long as the person(s) is travelling too. Please be advised that we can only accept the Holidays branded Tesco vouchers. You cannot book online using your vouchers as the holiday prices displayed include discounts and special offers. You will need to call our Holiday Hotline on 0843 309 2599 to check availability and to make the booking. All bookings made with Tesco vouchers must be made at least 14 days before the start date of your holiday. A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking which can be paid using a credit/debit card at the time of booking. Our team will reserve your booking for 3 days, during which time you must post your vouchers to us. Please write your booking reference number on the vouchers before sending them in to us. Send all vouchers and any additional payments to Park Resorts, Waterhouse Street, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP1 1FN. Please note, you may only send one batch of vouchers per booking. Once we have received your vouchers and once full payment has been received, we will process and confirm your booking. Park Resorts do not accept liability for lost or stolen Tesco or Leisure vouchers (we recommend that you send them recorded delivery). Please note that Tesco vouchers and Leisure Vouchers cannot be used together. Please note that your holiday must be booked within the 6 month voucher validity period and the vouchers must be valid for at least 2 weeks before the expiry date at the time of making your booking.

    Tesco vouchers cannot be redeemed for holidays at the following Parks.

    • Bideford Bay

    Note: Your Tesco vouchers cannot be redeemed online.

    Terms and Conditions

    Vouchers can only be used against the main 2012 brochure prices available from 1st November 2011 – 31st October 2012 and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. All bookings are subject to the 2012 main brochure terms and conditions. We will not accept vouchers for bookings made on our website or travel agent bookings. You can only use Tesco vouchers towards the cost of your static caravan or chalet accommodation. Your vouchers cannot be redeemed against lodge accommodation, Isle of Wight Ferry Travel, retail or food and drink whilst on the Park and any extras such as dogs, cots or highchairs. If you are booking a holiday on one of our Isle of Wight Parks, the Isle of Wight ferry crossing will need to be paid at the time of booking using a debit/credit card as they are not participating in the Tesco scheme. Voucher bookings are subject to availability at the time of bookings. Please note that selected dates and Parks can be removed from the promotion at any time, especially during peak season. Further information is available on the Tesco website. The maximum night duration that you can book with Tesco vouchers is 7 nights.

  • How and when do I need to pay my remaining balance?

    When you book your holiday we require a deposit to secure your holiday, the balance is then payable 8 weeks before the holiday start date.

    Failure to make payment by this time may result in your booking being cancelled.

    There are a number of ways to pay your remaining balance:

    Holiday Hotline: Call our Reservations Team on 0843 309 2597 to pay your outstanding balance.

    Paypoint: Spread the cost of your holiday with regular cash payments throughout the year at one of over 9,000 PayPoint outlets. Your confirmation invoice will include a barcode. Take this to your local PayPoint outlet and your payment will be registered by the barcode. Look for the distinctive yellow and purple PayPoint symbol displayed at many newsagents, convenience stores and petrol stations.

    Online: Currently you are not able to pay your remaining balance on our website, however this option will become available in future.
  • What are the different ways that I can book my holiday?

  • When will I receive my booking confirmation?

    When you have booked your holiday with Park Resorts, we will endeavour to send your holiday confirmation by post within approximately 7 days. If you book online, your booking reference number will be sent to you by email. You will then receive a postal confirmation within approximately 7 days.

  • Do you offer insurance?

    It may be necessary to cancel your holiday due to illness, accident or change of circumstances. If you have taken out our cancellation plan, payments arising from cancellation may be covered as detailed below. Please note this is not a comprehensive holiday insurance plan and only covers you in the event of cancelling your holiday.

    Enjoy extra piece of mind with our Cancellation Plan for your holiday booking. This plan is great value at:

    £25 per holiday home per week
    £17 per holiday home per short break

    Our cancellation plan covers your holiday cancellation in the event that any member of your party is unable to travel due to any of the following:
    Sickness
    Redundancy
    Jury Service
    Bereavement

    Proof will be required in writing, by recorded delivery, prior to the confirmed start date of your holiday.
    This will need to be as follows:
    Sickness............... Doctor’s Certificate
    Redundancy..........Employer’s notification
    Jury Service.......... Court notification
    Bereavement.........Death Certificate

    Once covered by our Cancellation Plan and one of the above categories applies, you will be entitled to a full refund of all holiday monies paid, subject to an administration charge of your deposit plus the Cancellation Plan fee. Please note the sliding scale of monies payable, under Conditions of Booking, should you not participate in the Cancellation Plan.


  • What is included in the cost of my holiday?

    The price you pay for your holiday includes entertainment passes for the total number of guests in your party, so that you can access all that our Parks have to offer during your stay, this includes:

    Free evening entertainment including family shows, theme nights, bands on tour, cabaret and Sparky's Krew shows.
    Free entry to our swimming pools
    FreeSparky's Krew daytime entertainment for 5 - 11 year olds.
    FreeThe Mix for 12 - 16 year olds

  • Can I book a holiday whilst I am at the Park?

    If you would like to book another holiday whilst you are on holiday at the Park, simply visit our Reception Staff who will be happy to take your booking.
