We arrived prior to check-in at Camber Sands Holiday Park so we thought we would check out the beach. The tide was out and the big pools and stretches of sand were a perfect playground for our two year old. As I was heavily pregnant, I settled down to watch the family playing in the water. Soon enough, we had one wet-through, sandy, thrilled toddler - and no dry clothes or towels! Luckily, the beach is so close to the park, we could pop back for supplies!
When the good weather deserted us, we also had the brilliant swimming pool and flume to splash around in. We were close enough to Hastings to enjoy a fantastic family day out. This is a great location and has great activities for all the family!

Returning to Camber Sands after 30 years with my young children, I was very surprised the magic is still there. My kids loved the sand dunes and the beach cafe just as I did all those years ago. I remember that it was a time when my children had the time of their life and a very happy five days was spent by the whole family. This included swimming in a lovely pool, playing on amusements, all activities laid on by the Park and just being in surroundings that I and my children felt safe.
