At Park Resorts we focus on both team success and developing you as an individual. That’s why we have a dedicated HR and Learning and Development team to ensure that you have the skills necessary to succeed in your role, whether Seasonal or Permanent. This learning focus is an integral part of our STARS customer service programme for internal and external customers alike.

All Parks are encouraged to participate in the STARS Board Game where teams of 7 representatives are put through their Customer Service paces for the chance to win 3 trips abroad. In 2008 the winners won a trip to New York, 2nd place to Paris and 3rd place to Dublin. The STARS Board Game final is a truly memorable experience for contestants and supporters alike. The spirit of STARS is continued throughout the year with our S Factor initiative which spotlights our true Customer Service champions who receive recognition from both their customers and their colleagues. This also offers team members the chance to win £1,000 at the draw at the end of our season.

We combine the STARS initiative with an ongoing NVQ programme providing role specific focus and training. Seventeen of our parks already have 'Investors in People' status with the remaining 20 on target for 2009.

Here at Park Resorts we believe in rewarding success. Several of our roles benefit from a generous bonus scheme including our General Managers, Holiday Homes Sales Managers, Holiday Homes Sales Advisor’s and Holiday Sales Managers. We have regular incentives for our staff on Park to encourage retail sales.

We fully encourage work life balance so overall for our permanent staff we offer 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays, the offer of a stakeholder pension and 3 times your salary in death in service. We want our people to enjoy our Holiday Parks so we do, of course, offer discounts on holidays to the tune of 25% off for friends and family at peak season and 50% off low season. We also have exclusive offers at a variety of different Parks. As a valued member of staff, or for your friends, we'll also give you an extra £500 off a Holiday Home! Whilst at work on Park we offer excellent discounts on our menu's during your break time.
