Touring at Ty Mawr
The Northern reaches of Wales are soaked in history, entertainment and natural beauty. Here, Park Resorts’ incredibly popular Ty Mawr Holiday Park, alongside being an excellent family-friendly place to simply spend time and relax, is perfectly situated as a base from which to explore the green Welsh countryside.
Touring at Ty Mawr is a smooth and easy experience. With pitch sizes of 6m x 6m and 10m x 6m, the vast majority of electric or non-electric caravans and campervans are catered for – electric hook-ups, showers, toilets, sinks, fresh water, car parking, waste water disposal and water collection points are all available.
You’ll also be able to enjoy all of the exciting facilities available at the park itself too, all included in the price of your pitch. The site’s adventure playground water flume, amusements arcade, indoor pool and sports court all ensure that kids won’t be at risk of being bored, and the restaurant, bar and takeaway will keep all the family fed, watered and happy through the entire trip. Make sure to check out our daytime and evening entertainment in the Entertainment Centre, courtesy of our lively and entertaining Teamstars!
Sun-worshippers will rejoice knowing that the beach is but a ten-minute walk from the park, however there’s a very wide range of things to do and see around the coastline of north Wales. The seaside towns of Rhyl, Llandudno and Penrhyn Bay are safely within driving distance for those that want to indulge in a portion of fish and chips or a little candy floss, while more outdoorsy types can head inland, soaking in the Welsh countryside or tackling the awe-inspiring magnificence of the Gwydyr Forest Park and Carnedd Llewelyn. There’s a huge amount to do and see in Wales, and via tourer is the way to experience it all!
