  • How do I contact the Park?

    You can call the Park on 0843 309 2565 or email lower.hyde@park-resorts.com.
  • How do I find the Park?

    The Park address is:
    Lower Hyde Holiday Park
    Landguard Road
    Shanklin
    Isle of Wight
    PO37 7LL

    From Fishbourne turn right onto the B3331. At the traffic signals turn left onto the A3054 signposted Ryde. From Ryde take the A3055 towards Shanklin. Turn right onto the A3056 Newport Road then take the fourth turning on the left into Whitecross Lane (Note: Whitecross Lane then changes to Sandy Lane and then Landguard Manor Road). Continue along this road until you reach the Park entrance on your right.
  • How do i book my ferry to the Isle of Wight?

    We offer some special discounts on your IOW ferry crossing, once you have booked your holiday please get in contact with us to enquire about prices.
  • Is the Park wheelchair friendly?

    The main complex of the site is wheelchair friendly, if in the event you find it difficult to manoeuvre around please ask for assistance and we will do all that we can to help. The park is on 2 levels so you may need the use of a car to get from one side of the Park to the other.
  • What do I need to bring?

    We recommend that you bring towels, tea towels, washing up materials, and toilet roll with you as these are not supplied. If you have booked a holiday through The Sun and not paid extra for your bed linen you will also need to bring this with you.

    If you are staying on a Camping & Touring pitch you may also need to bring tent pegs, your wellies if it is due to rain, electrical hookup and gas.
  • When is the Park open?

    The Park is open from 23rd March until 4th November 2012.
  • What times are reception open?

    Reception will be open from 9am to 7pm for check-in, and 9am to 6pm on other days. We will give you a phone number to call should you need any assistance after hours. If you will be arriving late to the Park, please contact reception before 5pm to let us know.
  • What time is check-in?

    Check-in times vary depending on the type of accommmodation you have chosen.
    Gold, Platinum or Signature 1.30pm
    Silver 2.30pm
    Bronze 4.00pm
    Camping & Touring pitches 12.00pm
  • When do I have to check out?

    Check out time is 10am on the day of departure for all accommodation and camping & touring pitches.
  • What if I'm arriving late?

    Please phone reception before 7pm if you are runnning late, we can then make arrangements for your keys to be left in the bar area.
  • Will there be an iron?

    Irons aren't always available so we recommend, if you require an iron, to bring your own.
  • Will there be garden furniture?

    It is unlikely that your accommodation will have garden furniture.
  • Can I bring my pet?

    Dogs are welcome in Bronze accommodation at a charge of £30 per short break and £50 per week, If you wish to bring another pet please call the Park prior to making your booking.

    Dogs are also welcome on your Camping & Touring holiday, for between £1 and £3 per night depending on the time of year.
  • How far is the beach?

    Sandown Blue flag beach is a 10 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from the park will take you to Shanklin beach.
  • Is there parking on site?

    There is ample parking on the Park but you may not always be able to park next to your caravan.
  • Will there be a microwave?

    All accommodation grades have a microwave. If you are staying on a Camping & Touring pitch, unfortunately there is not a communal microwave for you to use.
  • Does the Park allow visitors?

    The Park does allow you to have visitors, if they intend on using the facilities they will need to purchase entertainment passes.
  • Do we need entertainment passes?

    If you intend on using the services the Park has to offer you will need to have entertainment passes, these are included in the price of your holiday. You will need to have your passes with you to enter the complex.
  • Can I smoke on the Park?

    We ask that you do not smoke in your accommodation whilst you are staying at the Park, likewise all public buildings are also smoke free. You are welcome to smoke in most external areas of the Park.
  • Will there be Sky TV?

    You will find Sky TV in the Entertainment Complex, also if you are staying in our accommodation you will have a TV with the basic channels.
  • Will there be a cash machine?

    There is a cash machine on-site, use of which is subject to any provider fees.
  • What are the pitch sizes?

    All of the pitches at Lower Hyde are 7m x 7m.
  • Can we use an awning?

    The Park does allow awnings.
